Kelly and David will be composing their version of the wedding march for the couple to walk down the aisle to. They have titled it:
"Fall to her, rush to him: On this day we'll have our ways."
Kelly and David (Kelly Marie Martin and David Jones) is a collaborative duo based in Los Angeles. Their practice is an interdisciplinary blend of sound, music, visual and performance works. Their work has been included in REDCAT’s NOW Festival and Fall Studio. They premiered the a capella sculpture piece, Untitled Feather Chorale No.1 as part of Hubby’s CoTour 2008 and at Highways. Most recently they created a sound installation for Outpost’s Intersection 2009, a multi-sited public installation project of 10 artistic interventions into the heart of Eagle Rock’s business community.

In addition to their collaborative projects they produce works individually. David’s animated film, Poised and in the Throes is in this years OUTFEST program Safe Words, he co-curated Screwball Asses at Company in Los Angeles with Semiotexte’s editor, Hedi Kholti, and wrote the script for the collaborative single channel video and installation Faustus’s Children with Michele O’Marah and Tim Jackson. (Kelly and David also composed an original sound and music score for the video). The piece and the music for it was reviewed in multiple magazines including, ARTFORUM, Frieze, and Art in Review.
Kelly recently published photo book, Bike It: Portraits of My Bicipandilla, some of which are featured in the May issue of COG Magazine, participated in Creative Time’s Democracy in America: The National Campaign, and in 2008 Kelly created a sound installation as part of exhibition and residency, Rejmyre Matters in Rejmyre, Sweden. August, 2011 Bike It: Portraits of my Bicipandilla by Kelly Marie Martin features black-and-white photographic portraits, taken with a 4x5 camera, of riders in her “bicipandilla,” or bicycle gang, with their bikes. A reception with a reading by artist and poet Jen Hofer—one of the riders Martin photographed for Bike It—will take place on Thursday, August 18th, from 7-9pm.

Friday, September 23, 2011, 5-9pm: Spoke(n) Art Ride through Pasadena, co-sponsored by Cyclists Inciting Change through Live Exchange (CICLE).
Saturday, August 20th, 2011, 5-7pm: CraftNight with Craft Captain JP. All ages welcome, $2 craft-processing fee.
Sunday, October 2, 2011, 2-6pm: Closing ride, led by The City of Angels Ladies’ Bicycling Association (a.k.a. The Whirly Girls) and celebration with afternoon tea at the Armory.
The exhibition will be accompanied by an event known as CraftNight with Craft Captain JP (Julianna Parr) on August 20th from 5-7pm, where the bicycle-themed crafts of choice will be spokecards and personalized license plates. On September 23rd from 5-9pm CICLE will co-sponsor a poetry-and-art-inflected “spoken art” ride around Pasadena. The exhibit ends with a baked-goods-and-bikes bang: a closing ride and brunch with the City of Angels Ladies’ Bicycle Association, a.k.a. the Whirly Girls, on October 2nd, from 10am - 1pm. All events are free and open to the public..
