Bettina is orchestrating the project overall, but also will be engaged in conceptualizing certain ritual aspects as well, including the bouquet toss, the boutonniere, and the transcription of the vows into the wedding garments.

Bettina was born in New York and raised in Savannah, Georgia. She received her MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York (1994) in sculpture, drawing and photography. Hubby exhibited in many curatorial, group and solo shows/projects in New York and LA. She worked for ARTFORUM, The Drawing Center, The New Museum, and Parkett in New York and Roy McMakin, ACME Gallery, and Thomas Solomon Gallery in Los Angeles, etc.
Bettina is based in Los Angeles since 1999, working on solo and collaborative art projects. She has been featured in Anthem, Index and Paper magazines, the Los Angeles Times, the LA Weekly, The New Yorker, LA Magazine, a feature in the New York Times Magazine in 2008, and inclusion in the Home Show in Santa Barbara, 2011 - singled out for this by Christopher Knight in the LA Times.
